Manuela Izunwa has a first degree in law and a Masters degree in Public Administration. She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA), Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC) and a fellow of the Mentoring and Career Development Institute of Nigeria (MCDI). From 2007 – 2009, she served Rivers state as the Honourable Commissioner of Women Affairs and currently serves on the board of the National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA). Married to Pastor George Izunwa, she is the Co-pastor of Gateway International Church headquartered in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Together, they have three lovely children – Michelle, Mirabel and Mickel.
She is the founder of Deborah’s Cradle: a faith-based nongovernmental organisation aimed at nurturing and nudging women (and men) in ministry and leadership towards greatness. Pastor Manuela is the author of Don’t Die in Your Nest, Stretch, Overcoming Self-doubt and others.
